Morning Offering of the Confraternity
O my Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
I offer Thee my prayers, works, joys and sufferings
in union with the Masses said throughout the world today,
for all the intentions deep in Thy Sacred Heart and in Thy Mother’s Immaculate Heart:
I obey Thy command and Thy Mother’s desire to make reparation for my sins,
those committed in my family, by my relatives and loved ones, and by the whole world,

especially today for _________ (name of a person you are praying for).
Furthermore, I pray for the good intentions of the Holy Father that conform to Thy adorable Will. Amen.

To get an indulgence for our prayers, as offered in the Morning Offering, we say an Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be for the good intentions of the Holy Father that conform to God’s adorable will.

1. Our Father
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

2. Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

3. Glory Be
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into Hell. On the third day He arose again from the dead. He ascended into Heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Holy Catholic Church, the Communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Prayer to My Guardian Angel
Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom His [God’s] love commits me here, ever this day be at my side to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen.

Confraternity Prayer for the Souls in Purgatory
Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity

of Thy dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ,
in union with the Masses said throughout the world today,
for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory, and for sinners everywhere,
for sinners in the universal Church, for those in my own home and within my family. Amen.

St. Gertrude’s Prayer for the Souls in Purgatory
St. Gertrude’s prayer to release 1,000 souls from Purgatory:
Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus,
in union with the Masses said throughout the world today,
for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere,
for sinners in the universal Church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen.
(Approval and Recommendation: M. Cardinal Pahiarca at Lisbon, Portugal, March 4, 1936)

The following four prayers are acts of the will. When we pray, we must mean what we say. Even if we don’t feel the emotion of it, we can still express our good will. We ask God, “Fix deep in our hearts lively sentiments of faith, hope, and charity, true contrition, and a firm purpose of amendment.” (from the Prayer Before a Crucifix)

Act of Faith
O my God, I firmly believe that Thou art one God in three Divine Persons, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost; I believe that Thy Divine Son became man, died for our sins, and that He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe these and all the truths which the holy Catholic Church teaches, because Thou hast revealed them, Who can neither deceive nor be deceived. Amen. (3 years)

Act of Hope
O my God, relying on Thy almighty power and infinite mercy and promises, I hope to obtain pardon of my sins, the help of Thy grace, and life everlasting through the merits of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Redeemer. Amen. (3 years)

Act of Charity
O my God, I love Thee above all things, with my whole heart and soul, because Thou are all good and worthy of all love. I love my neighbor as myself for the love of Thee. I forgive all who have injured me, and ask pardon of all whom I have injured. Amen. (3 years)
Charity, a theological virtue, is a specific form of love. Why does the Bible use the word “charity” instead of “love”?
St. Paul’s description of love/charity

Act of Contrition
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins, because I dread the loss of Heaven and the pains of Hell, but most of all because I have offended Thee, my God, who are all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life. Amen. (3 years)
